Changing blogging domain and site

Dear blogger friends, Lately, I had a few problems with the Blogger web site for my blog The Content Reader . I took this as a sign that I should finally create a web site of my own. I have been checking out other options, but could not get my act together. Finally, I have managed to create a basic web site with Wix, which I hope will be developed over time.  It has not been easy to find my way around. One thing one can say about Blogger is that it is easy to work with.  This site will no longer be updated Follow me to my new domain @  thecontentreader.com Hope to see you there.  Lisbeth @ The Content Reader

Paris in July 2021

Ah, it is this time of the year. The time when we go to Paris in July to share our love for everything French. Tamara at Thyme for Tea is hosting again, thank you so much. I think this challenge is a favourite for many of us.

This year will be a little different for me. We have bought a Camper van and are going around Sweden on a camping tour. We are heading towards the north on Saturday and hope to all the way up to the Midnight Sun. I am not sure what I will do this year, but read some books connected, one way or the other to Paris and France. I will start with Nina George's The Little Bookshop in Paris. I have heard good things about it, so it will be a good start.

Maybe, I will be able to do a French dinner in our van. Let's see what I kind of ingredients I can find. Maybe a French movie or a TV-series, and listen to some French music. I also hope to be inspired by your choices.

    1. A favourite challenge for many of us. It does not matter if we cannot contribute a lot. Every contribution is fun to read and be inspired by.

  2. Oh this sounds lovely and I will look out for your posts. I don't THINK I have anything Parisian I can contribute, unfortunately.

  3. During these Covid times, local driving holidays have become so popular. I look forward to hearing about yours (are you on instagram?)
I've got some Maigret's saved for July and I plan to cook from Rachel Khoo's Little Paris Kitchen cookbook.
    Bon voyage!

    1. I have an Instagram (thecontentreader) but have not posted there for some time. I might put a few pictures there.
Maigret is always good and an easy read. I might add a book about him to my reading list. Little Paris Kitchen cookbook sounds interesting. Have to check it out.

  4. Lisbeth, So glad you're joining in this year. Even a little bit of Paris and a taste of France will lift your spirits this year. I would love to see some posts about french cooking on a road trip - even some little snippets of french food you find in sweeden.

    1. Paris in July is a must, and I am glad you are hosting again. I think this is exactly what we need today. A little bit of the French flair to lighten up our lives. I am thinking of something French, easy something, to cook in the van. Let's see what I can come up with.
