Blogging Anniversary - 10 years
A while ago I checked when I did my first blog post, in order to celebrate with an anniversary post. Well, that day came and went without any reaction from me. Better late than never, so here a reminder of my very first blog post from 24 October 2012. The book was New Finnish Grammar by Diego Marani. It seems so...!
DeleteGreat beginning. It certainly raises a lot of questions. I am featuring A Murder for the Books by Victoria Gilbert. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteYes, I really love this beginning. Although he is the narrator, so....! Maybe he got out of it somehow?
DeleteOkay, so is the first line giving the ending away? Since the second part is apparently from Thomas Hawkings's point of view, it does make you wonder.
ReplyDeleteWell, that's it. He is the narrator and here we have the story! The book is written in back lashes and in between we go back to the wagon that takes him to Tyburn. Have to wait until the end.
DeleteNow I'm definitely curious. Thanks for sharing, and here's mine: “A SEASON TO LIE”
ReplyDeleteYes, me too. I am just in the beginning, but it seems that trouble is building up for Tom Hawkins.
DeleteSounds like a great read! Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteNow I have finished it. It was a little bit slow in the beginning, but somewhere in the middle it picked up and I could not put it down. Finished it at 1.30 in the morning!
