Marani is an Italian novelist, translator and newspaper columnist. While working as a translator for the European Union he invented a language ‘Europanto’ which is a mixture of languages and based on the common practice of word-borrowing usage of many EU languages. Merry Christmas from Australia.
ReplyDeleteWe also enjoyed a Christmas smorgasbord, with a family Monopoly game afterwards and evening swim at the beach.
Thanks for stopping by and all your thoughtful comments throughout the year.
It sounds so lovely with a swim! Here we are just lucky if we happen to see the sun for a couple of hours. A swim is only possible in the spa that we are lucky to have in our residence. And that is what I did yesterday. First with a hammam sauna and then a swim. It was lovely! Enjoy your lovely weather.
DeleteMerry Christmas -- yes, a couple of days late. I fear I took some offline time too!
ReplyDeleteYour tree looks beautiful and I love the silver heart. Meanwhile, I want to thank you for your visits to the Gypsy and your comments. They always make me smile. I am always in awe of how this blog land pulls us together from all over the world. Happy New Year!
I made an effort to put everything in blue and silver this year. To go with our new flat which is more or less decorated with white, grey and black. Thank you for being such a wonderful blogging friend. I always appreciate your positive approach to life. I really hope that I can be as positive for 2017. See you there! In the meantime a Happy New Year to you and your lovely family.
