For 2020, I will not participate in too many challenges. There are a few which are my absolute favourites and these you will find below. Apart from that, I will make my own challenges. I will read more nonfiction, trying to read several books about the same subject. Maybe doing a few read-along on my own, meaning, a chapter a day, for quite thick b

Mount TBR Reading Challenge 2020

This challenge is hosted by Bev at My Reader's Block and the main rules are: 

*Once you choose your challenge level, you are locked in for at least that many books. If you find that you're on a mountain-climbing roll and want to tackle a taller mountain, then you are certainly welcome to upgrade. All books counted for lower mountains carry over towards the new peak.

*Challenge runs from January 1 to December 31, 2020.

*You may sign up anytime from now until November 1st, 2020.

*Books must be owned by you prior to January 1, 2020.

Mont Blanc: Read 24 books from your TBR pile/s
Mt. Vancouver: Read 36 books from your TBR pile/s

El Toro: Read 75 books from your TBR pile/s
Mt. Everest: Read 100 books from your TBR pile/s
Mount Olympus (Mars): Read 150+ books from your TBR pile/s

2020 European Reading Challenge





Once again I am joining Gilion on Rose City Reader to participate in the European Reading Challenge for 2020.  Go to the link above for more detailed information. There are five levels of participation.


FIVE STAR (DELUXE ENTOURAGE): Read at least five books by different European authors or books set in different European countries. My aim!  Reached!

FOUR STAR (HONEYMOONER): Read four qualifying books.

THREE STAR (BUSINESS TRAVELER): Read three qualifying books.

TWO STAR (ADVENTURER): Read two qualifying books.

ONE STAR (PENSION WEEKENDER): Read just one qualifying book.

I am signing up for this challenge again for 2020 I did not make it with one book a week last year, but almost. Ah well, a good try. It is hosted by Robin of my two blessings.
